kein | delusional inflammation (EP)
RELEASE DATE
: July 9th (2025)

Japanese rock band kein have announced the release of their anticipated second major-label EP, titled delusional inflammation, set to drop on July 9, 2025. The new release will feature five brand-new tracks, continuing the band’s dark, radical sonic aesthetic that has enchanted fans since their last EP, PARADOXON DOLORIS. The EP’s evocative title—named by vocalist Maco—a phrase that hints at the band’s complex emotional landscapes and layered conceptual themes. As with their previous work, each of the five tracks was written specifically for this release, drawing on the diverse musical experiences of its members, who have roots in influential acts like lynch., deadman, and 101A.

自動翻訳で読んだけど、すごく本質的なことにも迫っていてとても興味深かった。big gurlの具体的な由来についての話なんて初めて聞いたし。

Here’s my take on what was a turning point in LUNA SEA’s journey. I approached it from a wider angle than a standard report, as the weight of the circumstances made it feel heavier & deeper. Grateful to the band & crew for the invitation — truly honored to have witnessed it. 🖖🏼

Spent years watching Michael Jackson be crucified by the media and public opinion. Now, watching his resurrection got me thinking about revisionism, crowd psychology, and Japan’s very different relationship with artists. A article that finally found its way out. 🖖🏻
