FAR EAST PHALLUS KICKER | Live-Report @ Flowers Loft, Tokyo [JP] (2021)

Experience the explosive debut of FAR-EAST PHALLUS KICKER: a fusion of rock, punk, and post-punk!

FAR-EAST PHALLUS KICKER, a Japanese quartet, recently held their very first headliner concert at the trendy Flowers Loft in Tokyo’s Shimokitazawa district. Although it was their debut as a band, each member has extensive experience in the music industry. This allowed FAR-EAST PHALLUS KICKER to deliver a captivating and energetic performance, despite the challenges posed by the global health crisis. Led by frontman Chu-Ya (known for his work with ALLERGY, De-LAX, and LOOPUS), the band effortlessly combines various influences, resulting in a delightful fusion of rockabilly, hard-rock, punk, and post-punk. With the talented bassist Ery, the charismatic guitarist and leader Hideki, the elegant drummer Reiko, and the magnetic vocalist Chu-Ya, FAR-EAST PHALLUS KICKER promises to be a band worth keeping an eye on. We eagerly await their first full-length album.

自動翻訳で読んだけど、すごく本質的なことにも迫っていてとても興味深かった。big gurlの具体的な由来についての話なんて初めて聞いたし。

Here’s my take on what was a turning point in LUNA SEA’s journey. I approached it from a wider angle than a standard report, as the weight of the circumstances made it feel heavier & deeper. Grateful to the band & crew for the invitation — truly honored to have witnessed it. 🖖🏼

Spent years watching Michael Jackson be crucified by the media and public opinion. Now, watching his resurrection got me thinking about revisionism, crowd psychology, and Japan’s very different relationship with artists. A article that finally found its way out. 🖖🏻
