Now, lynch. seeks redemption, intent on rewriting that chapter. Overcoming the hardships of the past, they have cemented their present selves as a validation of everything they’ve endured.

The final show of tour THE FIERCE BLAZE, following the release of the EP FIERCE, was an auditory assault that left no soul untouched. The band lynch. unleashed an unrelenting barrage of dense, atmospheric soundscapes, their signature blend of metalcore with dark, industrial undertones reaching its zenith in this performance. The stage, shrouded in a sinister ambiance, was bathed in deep crimson hues, evoking the imagery of smoldering embers and blood—an aesthetic fitting for a band that thrives on raw intensity. The set exploded into motion with a mechanized industrial beat, underscored by haunting choral arrangements that immediately established a blistering pace. From the outset, it was clear that the production was as precise as it was forceful—every note, every beat, and every scream meticulously balanced, yet uncompromising in its power. The clarity in the mix allowed each instrument to stand out, yet remain part of a cohesive sonic assault. Everything was meticulously calculated.
The vocalist, HAZUKI, was in great form, his delivery was a carbon copy of the band’s recorded work, perfectly transitioning between guttural growls and soaring, melodious choruses. His stage presence was on top—gradually stoking the audience’s fervor until they mirrored the intensity of the band itself—a blazing inferno of energy. The drummer, Asanao, pummeled his kit with relentless aggression, each beat resonating through the venue like thunderous cannon fire. In contrast, the guitarist, Yusuke, offered a more measured performance. His riffs were surgically executed, providing a sharp counterbalance to the drummer’s unbridled ferocity. During the blistering performance of THE BLASTERED BACK BONE, bassist, Akinori, stepped into the spotlight, his laid-back groove cutting through the chaos with swagger and style, proving to be a critical element in the band’s dynamic. One of the evening’s most visually arresting moments arrived with GHOST as fire drums erupted, transforming the stage into a searing furnace. The song’s infectious groove quickly became a highlight, with the audience’s energy peaking as flames roared in sync with the music. The set surged forward with EVIDENCE maintaining an unwavering momentum, until GALLOWS ignited the crowd into a fever pitch, serving as the climactic crescendo of the night. Leader and guitarist Reo’s steadfast and unwavering playing throughout anchored the performance with rhythmic precision. By the time the band tore into PULSE, Reo’s infectious energy reached a fevered apex, leaving the audience dazzled by his unbridled showmanship.
After a triumphant encore, the screen lit up with a montage of music videos chronicling lynch.’s storied history, setting the stage for a significant announcement. As if on cue, the audience erupted into wild cheers upon the revelation of the lynch. 20th ANNIVERSARY PROJECT. This project will unfold across an entire year, starting with a performance at Zepp Nagoya in late December, followed by a second major show at Omiya Sonic City’s grand hall in early January. The initiative, spanning ten acts from XX act:1 to XX act:10, promises to keep fans on their toes as lynch. celebrates two decades of musical defiance and evolution. This project echoes the band’s earlier 15th ANNIVERSARY PROJECT [XV], which launched five years ago to mark their 15th year together. However, that endeavor was cut short at [XV] act:5 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, lynch. seeks redemption, intent on rewriting that chapter. Overcoming the hardships of the past, they have cemented their present selves as a validation of everything they’ve endured. With this newfound resolve, lynch. has set their sights on the future.
